Another fantastic weekend of football for Salthill Devon F.C.! Our teams delivered some incredible performances, showing great skill, teamwork, and determination across all age groups. Let’s dive into some of the highlights:

U13A Boys Progress to Irish Cup Last 32 with Thrilling 3-2 Victory Over Mervue!

Great performance from our under 13As v Mervue Utd. This was round 4 of the Irish Cup with the winners progressing to the last 32 in the competition. A city derby with our friends from the east side of city. Two quality teams with an abundance of talent.

Salthill Devon team line up on match day was Sean Gibbons, Luke McDonnagh, Charlie Dhoot, Sean Mulkerrins, Caelem Kinneavy, Daniel Lydon, Finn Hevican (captain), Elliott McCullough, Liam Monaghan, Evan Lydon, James Wheatley, sub used Oisin McEvoy for James W.

The boys secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory with goals from James Wheatley, Evan Lydon, and Daniel Lydon. We now await to see who we meet in the last 32. Two league games up next for this brilliant squad of players.

U11 Squads Excel with Three Outstanding Performances!

Our under 11 squads have been working incredibly hard in training to improve their skills. This weekend, their work paid off with three excellent displays of football. Our Blue and Navy squads welcomed Kinvara and St Bernard’s to Drom on Saturday afternoon, whilst our White squad travelled to Ballinasloe. All three games were full of great performances, goals and team work. Thanks to our three excellent opponents!
