Another fantastic weekend of football for Salthill Devon F.C.! Our teams delivered some incredible performances, showing great skill, teamwork, and determination across all age groups. Let’s dive into some of the highlights:
U13A Boys Dominant 7-3 Victory Over Tuam Celtic!
Our U13A Boys put on an impressive display, defeating Tuam Celtic 7-3! Elliott McCullough led the scoring with a hat-trick, Noah Donahue added a brace, and Finn Hevican and Evan Lydon each found the net. Great assists from Evan Lydon, Liam Monaghan, Elliott McCullough, and Finn Hevican. A fantastic team performance!
U15C Boys Battle to 3-3 Draw With Tuam Celtic!
Our U15C boys were back on Pitch 3 today — a great surface they really enjoy playing on.
A slow start saw us concede two early goals within the first ten minutes. After a bit of restructuring, the lads settled, pulled one back before halftime, and drew level early in the second half.
Both sides played some excellent football, with strong physical battles and plenty of moments that demanded smart decision-making. Tuam went ahead again with about eight minutes left — arguably against the run of play — but our heads didn’t drop.
Persistent pressure and tenacious work from the boys earned us a penalty, calmly converted by Sebi Todosi to make it 3–3. From there, it was about holding firm while still pushing for a winner — and we nearly got it.
A draw was a fair and hard-fought result, and there’s something very likable about this group — full of effort, attitude, and loads of room for development. Goals from Ruadhari MacGiollarnath, Cian Parker, and Sebi Todosi.
