Salthill Devon Announces New Stadium Partnership: Drom Rebranded as NFP Park
Salthill Devon FC has officially announced that their home ground at Drom will now be known as NFP Park. NFP, an Aon company, is a leading property and casualty (P&C) broker and benefits consultant.
Based in Oranmore, NFP recently took over the business of HC Financial, who had previously sponsored Salthill Devon for thirty years, marking a new chapter for the historic club.
“We’re proud to support Salthill Devon FC and the brilliant work they do in their community. The club’s commitment to wellbeing and development on and off the pitch aligns perfectly with our values. Through this partnership, we look forward to helping the club invest in the next generation of players, fans and community leaders.”
— Colm Power, Managing Director, NFP in Ireland
Salthill Devon has, over generations, built a platform for players of all ages and abilities to nurture talent, develop lifelong friendships, and strengthen community ties.
“We’re thrilled to partner with NFP to elevate our community engagement. NFP’s support will help us make football even more accessible and continue building a positive foundation for young players across Galway and the surrounding region.”
— Tony Johnstone, Treasurer, Salthill Devon FC
Looking Ahead: National League Progression
Later this year, Salthill Devon will enter the FAI’s third-tier National League. This is a logical progression for a club that has dominated local football at the adult level for several seasons.
“It has always been a key objective to operate at all levels from elite player development leagues,” added Pete Kelly, Club PRO. “Our motto, Cairdeas Tré Sport, has never been more important.”
