Salthill Devon in FAI Cup Semi’s
Salthill Devon have advanced to the last four of the Irish Junior Cup with a convincing 3-1 away win over North End United, Wexford. The home side were fancied but Salthill were the dominant team throughout and overcame the setbacks of missing penalty, hitting the bar and going a goal down to roar to victory.
Goals from Vinny Faherty (2) and Mikey Fox saw Victor Collins and Keith O’Shaughnessy’s squad safely home. Another long journey awaits in the semi final with Waterford’s Villa FC – nothing like doing it the hard way!
