Rory Ginty was a speaker on the panel at the FAI Grassroots Soccer Conference in Aviva Stadium on Saturday last.

He spoke generally talked about his  transition from ex pro to now coaching the u11/12s girls soccer teams at SDFC and emphasising importance of “giving them an amazing experience like we had as kids at Salthill Devon (so that they come back in 20-30 years and take up the fundraisers and coaching positions etc)”

Rory says “Loads of positivity in the room and lots to learn from other clubs and how they run Grassroots locally and also a brief from the FAI on their current view. Stephen Kenny also spoke for about 45 mins on his experience of grassroots. A good day”

Rory Ginty is a pivotal member of Salthill Devon’s coaching and development community, a serious thinker on the game and a massive asset to the club.
