The Under 13B’s had a great league win on Saturday over local rivals Knocknacarra FC’s U13B’s, They banged in four goals without reply
Meanwhile the U17’s were 1-0 winners over Athenry. Unfortunately the U15A’s came a cropper , losing 3-0 in Barna, made up for by the U13A’s beating Barna, 2-1. The adult ‘B’ squad had a great three nil win away to Kilshanvey.
The under 16 girls had a hard day at the office against Stoneyford (Kilkenny) losing out on a 5-1 score line. They conceded two early goals and could not recover.
Victor Collin’s Junior team, having such a good season, were comfortable 5-1 winners over Colga in the Connacht Cup with goals from Shane O’Rourke, Alberto Cabanyes (2) and Vinny Faherty and a wonder goal from Mikey Fox from 35 yards
