Salthill Devon are delighted to announce that The Dough Bros have come on board as kit sponsors for the five adult men’s teams, ladies’ team and the Nipper Academy.
The Dough Bros have been awarded the ‘Best Pizza in Ireland’ accolade two years running and are now ranked as the 15th best pizzeria in the world. Their rise has been meteoric and in just over ten years they have moved on from a food truck to a pop up shop to a bricks and mortar restaurant in Galway city.
This of course did not happen by accident but by dint of hard work and very savvy promotional skills.
At the official launch in Drom, Salthill Devon Chairman Ollie Daniels said “getting The Dough Bros on board as sponsors with the adults and the nippers – bookending the club, as it were, is fantastic for us.”
“Eugene and Ronan have been outstanding players for Salthill Devon and are indeed still playing with our first division squad” “For us in the club it’s a partnership of like minded quality organisations.”
As local lads who have played for the club from the age of five, through all the various levels and age groups, it gives us immense pride to come on board as one of Salthill Devon FC’s main sponsors,” says Ronan Greaney. “We share the club’s passion to develop people both on and off the pitch.”
“The Dough Bros and Salthill Devon share so many core values, such as the importance of community, togetherness, resilience, passion and vision. The club has had an amazing history but it’s the future that we’re most excited about, and The Dough Bros wants to be a part of that,” notes Eugene Greaney. “We see this as, not just a sponsorship but more of a strategic partnership, where we can help the club grow in an exciting way while also exposing The Dough Bros brand and sub-brand to a very large and growing demographic. It’s hugely exciting and long may it continue.”
