RIP Gerry Cunningham

It is with great sadness that we learned of the news of the passing of Gerry Cunningham (front row right). He was resident in the UK for many years.

In his playing days at Salthill Devon, Gerry was recognised in Galway and one of the best goalkeepers of his generation.

It was a pleasure to play with Gerry, as I had the privilege of doing on countless occasions. Off the field he was a gentleman, a true blue. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
