Starting them Young

Salthill Devon are starting them young and will continue their partnership with Power Soccer this season focusing on the formative years of development from 3 to 5 years in particular. The sessions will start on Saturday at 1.00pm in Drom

Power Soccer bring with them a wealth of Knowledge & Expertise in coaching & nurturing the youngest of budding Football stars

Younger players work on general movement skills that are essential for all children. The focus with the younger players is not solely about making great soccer players but shaping children who in the future can participate and enjoy many sports. Power Soccer develops a child’s agility and speed work, disguised in many fun activities.  Fun is a fundamental principle underpinning the success of Power Soccer over the past 20 years.

“Fun is so important in our sessions and it is the reason children want to return each week. “

Salthill Devon’s link with Power Soccer School of Excellence creates a long term pathway and continuity for kids that enjoy soccer. It also assures parents that their children are getting the best coaches, supported by Salthill Devon’s outstanding facilities at Drom.

Power Soccer is headed by John Power. John holds qualifications with the Football Association of Ireland and the Scottish Football Association and is highly experienced in working with young kids. John says that “the partnership with Salthill Devon is a testament to the outstanding work being done all year round by the coaches.”
