Juniors on Song – another big win
The juniors led the the charge this weekend with a 6-1 in the FAI junior cup over city rivals Hibernians. The goals came from Jack Arra, Vinny Faherty, Jackson Da Silva, Matthew Barrett, Ronan Greaney and Princewill Diala.
This follows their facile victory Ballina in the Connacht Super Cup, while they also head the Galway Premier League.
The under 14 girls rattled in an impressive nine goals away to Loughrea on Sunday with goals from Amber O’Leary x 3, Anna Conway x 2, Emily Jean Killeen, Ana Murphy, Siofra McMahon and Grace Coyle. – well done to Conor Killeen and the whole crew.
The under 14 A’s came away with a 2-0 victory away to Claremorris on the Irish Cup. Never an easy lace to win in, this was a cracking result. Rahim ‘The Dream’ Latidoye got both goals late in the game.
The under 14bs were not to out done and knocked in four goals in the Westside against Corrib Rangers. The goals came from Jason Heffernan,
Rian Gill, Daniel Acton and Keelan Lillis; Great work by Des the coaches and the entire squad.
