Junior B’s Lift Division 2 Title

Dave Carr’s all conquering division 2 squad captured the league title in Drom on Saturday afternoon with a hard fought 4-2 win over Loughrea B. It’s nee a great season so far with more to come hopefully.
Meanwhile the Junior A’s got back to winning ways with a 3-1 win away to St Bernard’s in teh premier League. Mark Diskin’s under 18 B’s go from strength to strength , thsi week they overcame Moyne Villa, 7-2 with a Rian Keating hattrick while Sean O’Connor bagged 2 with Riad Boussaf (pen) and Bobby Maher got one each. The U18’s got back on track with a 2-2 draw with Tuam. The this U12 B Girls Division 2 we came unstuck 0-5 against Loughrea A.
U12 Salthill Devon girls played out a great game of football on Sunday morning against Knocknacarra in the Connacht Cup .
The Salthill Devon girls came out 2-1 winners with “Captain Fantastic” Siún Cullinan scoring both goals .

There was mixed luck for the Under 12 Boys with the A’s comfortably beating Athenry 6-1 while SDFC ‘Yellow’ were beat 6-0 by Ballinasloe Town in Division 1.
